Henderson County Community Hospital is a 41-bed general acute care facility growing in the technology and services necessary to provide close-to-home patient care. The hospital was built in 1958 and was acquired by Methodist Health Systems in 1985. Critical and special care are available at 662-bed Jackson- Madison County General Hospital and 166-bed HCA Regional Hospital of Jackson 25 miles from Lexington.
